Experience the oldest ethnic festival in Los Angeles, the Nisei Week Japanese Festival being held August 10 - 18, 2013. The festival is named for the nisei - children born to Japanese immigrants in a new country - as opposed to issei, the immigrants themselves.

This celebration of Japanese heritage and culture happens in Little Tokyo and includes a Japanese film festival, traditional taiko drumming, karate exhibtions, demonstrations of time-honored sword skills, Japanese arts and crafts, authentic Japanese cuisine and the main attraction, the Grand Parade which is filled with traditional Japanese costumes, dances and other surprises.

The "I Love LA" City Tour!
Spend today exploring the glitz and glamor of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills as you hum the song made famous by Randy Newman. See LA’s newest iconic building the Walt Disney Concert Hall,and the long-time favorite Capitol Records circular building(the original studio for the Beatles and the Beach Boys). Visit Hollywood & Vine, home of the Kodak Theater and the Academy Awards. Be sure to match your hands with all the stars at Grauman's Chinese Theater while gazing down at the stars along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We'll continue along the famous Sunset Strip to the one and only Beverly Hills with stops for photo taking including the iconic Hollywood sign!

LA Historic Side City Tour
Start your journey back in time at the original Spanish mission, Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana , the largest of the California missions. Then no history buff’s trip is complete without a day at the Autry National Center of the American West (as in Gene Autry, the singing cowboy). Finally we'll visit the oldest section of Los Angeles, tucked beneath skyscrapers and between Union Station and Chinatown, are 27 historic buildings comprising the pedestrian-only El Pueblo Historical Monument, the 1781 birthplace of Los Angeles.
